BEING A REALIST
David Ben Gurion, The first prime Minister of Israel, is quoted as saying, “In Israel in order to be a realist you must believe in miracles”.
As head of a nation he took a very deep spiritual truth and applied it to his own country. A very natural thing to do in his position.
But, what he said applies to all people of all nationalities.
The realm of the miraculous, is very real. What the world calls miraculous, a spiritual person, one who understands metaphysics, calls ‘the natural outworking of the spiritual law’.
The spiritual law is not at all concerned with appearances, with things as they seem to be from our five senses. It operates from a realm far above this level. It is creative in nature. Thus, regardless of what conditions seem to be at the moment, the spiritual law will create new conditions and new events. When these things happen we call it a miracle.
Bottom line. If you don’t believe in miracles, if you don’t believe in the spiritual law, you are not a realist.
