A Spiritual Guide To Wealth: Part 1

- Decide what you are good at and what gives you joy.
You will not succeed in any profession if you don’t love it or don’t enjoy it. This will take honest self analysis and meditation. Ask the Divine to guide you. The answers will come as surely as day follows night. The answers can come from the most unlikely sources. Your personal Horoscope can also give you solid guidance.
- Play the long game.
Quick wealth sometimes happens, but it is rare. Moreover, if the person hasn’t built the spiritual and psychological equipment to handle it, this kind of wealth rarely lasts. Winners of lotteries are notoriously broke within a few years. Big time boxers and athletes likewise. Not all, but many of them. Think long term about your finances and build wealth over time in a disciplined and steady way. It’s the long term, daily discipline that brings riches over time. Regardless of how much money you have in the bank, if your wealth is on the increase, you are on the road to wealth – though perhaps not there yet.
- Understand what real wealth is.
In the world – the mass consciousness – wealth is measured in dollars and cents – by the size of your bank balance, portfolio and properties you own. But this is only a small part of what wealth is when we consider it spiritually. Spiritually considered wealth means good health, healthy relationships, a harmonious life, a feeling of “no lack”, of having enough to meet your needs.
- Run your own race.
Don’t compare yourself to others and don’t try to emulate others. Your way is the best way. You are wired up in a very unique way. What works for others might not work for you. What never worked for others could very well work for you. Proceed at your own pace and in your own way. When you are in tune with the Divine Affluence there is never any rush – you might move faster at times – but without a sense of rush.
