In my yard, early morning, sunlight
becomes dancing diamonds on the river
Joyous dancing diamonds,
Dew on the grass also becomes
dancing diamonds, leaping for joy.
Every blade of grass encrusted with
I think of my body. Perhaps this is
the case here too. Every blood cell
a Dancing Diamond leaping through
the arteries and veins and capillaries.
What the Light does in the world,
It does in my body – or any body –
as it shines on the consciousness.
